I'm starting a thread for her. I wrote a tune for her a few moments ago and will post it when I can. Memories can be shared here from those who knew her.

I did not know Cari Norris. Condolences to her family, loved ones and friends.

I met Cari at the first Hindman Dulcimer Homecoming. I took a workshop or two from her during my participation in the Homecomings. I really enjoyed her banjo playing and the stories she told about her grandmother Lillie Mae Ledford. My sympathy goes out to her family and friends.

So sorry to hear this. I saw and heard Cari at the first or second Hindman homecoming. Does anybody have details? When, where, how?

According to one news report she went to run an errand on April 12 at around 4 p.m. and didn't return. The report said she was found dead in her car but police were not sure of the circumstances of her death. Her family has not said anything and reports are scarce at this point.

Dan thanks for posting Für Cari. The Dorian mode is very appropriate.
