Dave -- that's a good idea, in England anyway -- it's only a couple hundred miles in any one direction, even if most people never go more than 20 miles from their birthplace, even today. But Scotland, the following year, is much more remote. Making a simple, small instrument that fits in a suitcase is a good challenge to what passes for my skills...

Nice view, Bobby. No snow this morning, but we had a slight dusting yesterday. Wednesday I went to my friends shop to cut out the tenon on my guitar neck. Today I did a little work on cleaning up the guitar body and worked some on shaping the next. I'm determined to finish this thing.
